The following was created for my Master’s of Music in Film Scoring project from Berklee College of Music. The film I chose for my project was the 1928 film The Passion of Joan of Arc.

However, in addition to rescoring the film, I also wanted to provide a live performance of the score alongside the film. The film was cut down by me due to time constraints and contains the most impactful scenes to me with some descriptions in between to fill the gaps.

My goal was to create a score that transformed this film into a character study. Joan of Arc has always been the focus of this film for me, and I wanted to complete a score that evokes that focus. I hope you enjoy.
